Content Rules: Are you answering the questions your visitors are asking?

In 1996 Bill Gates wrote an inspiring article titled “Content is King.” In the article he wrote, “Content is where I expect much of the real money will be made on the Internet, just as it was in broadcasting.” Mr. Gates was right in his predictions. Content is what drives the Internet and your website as we know it. The most popular online applications in the world are the ones in which we populate the Internet with more content — social networks, blog hosts, video sharing websites. Then we have search engines like Google who dominate the internet, encouraging us to fuel this need for even more content by providing us with a platform to explore and discover new content.

Search engine optimization does more than making sure just your dealer website is optimized. SEO will boost your dealership’s entire web presence on sites such as Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, your blog, and business listings. You can ensure top three search results by writing great copy for these sites in the about us section, and here are three excellent tips to follow.

One: Use the maximum characters allowed. With Google + you can basically go on forever.

Two: Clearly write out all your services. Get into detail of what it is you sell all the way down to the model lineup, Service, Parts, and Finance.

Three: On the sites where linking is allowed, like Google +, use hyperlinks in the copy that send readers to the multitude of pages on your site.
